What we're looking for

Relevant & impactful – Posts should resonate with themes of material culture, including (but not limited to) objects, research, creative work, interpretation, and community narratives.

Authentic & original – We accept unpublished work only, whether academic reflections, storytelling, or creative expressions.

Accessible & thought-provoking – Write in a way that invites curiosity and sparks meaningful connections.
Length & format

Word count: 600–1,200 words is ideal.

Submission format: Share with hdickinson@dal.ca via Word document or Google Doc.

Visuals: Include images if relevant (ensure proper permission or provide credits).

Include: Your name, a 50–100 word bio, and optional social media or website links.
Review & publication
